run in your terminal
claude mcp add apple-calendar -- uvx apple-calendar-mcp

How to start

  1. Run the command in your terminal, in the project where you want it.
  2. Sign in if asked the first time Claude connects.
  3. Check it: run /mcp in Claude Code and look for it in the list.

What it needs

  • APPLE_CALENDAR_MCP_SAFETY_MODEOptional. Safety mode for Calendar operations: safe_readonly, safe_manage, or full_access.
  • APPLE_CALENDAR_MCP_ALLOWED_CALENDARSOptional. Comma-separated allow-list of calendar names. Empty allows all calendars.
  • APPLE_CALENDAR_MCP_WRITE_ALLOWED_CALENDARSOptional. Comma-separated allow-list of calendar names that may be written to (create/update/delete). Reads are unaffected, so a client can see every calendar while only being able to modify these. Empty applies no write-specific restriction.

Environment variables as listed in the server's MCP Registry entry.
